"I ordered online for click and collect..."
I ordered online for click and collect, and got the pickup email the next day. The website was easy enough to use, but when I got to the store, the counter area was a bit confusing, and I ended up waiting around 15 minutes before anyone helped me.

The item itself was fine, and the staff were polite once they got to me. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just not quite as smooth, or as quick, as I was expecting...

"Pretty Hit or Miss on Delivery Time"
This was kind of hit or miss for me. The order eventually showed up, but it took way longer than I expected, which was frustrating. If you’re not in a rush, it might be fine, but the wait definitely wasn’t great

"The hours were actually convenient"
I wasn’t sure if I was just overthinking it, but the opening hours ended up working really well for me. They were open late enough after work, which made stopping by way easier than I expected.

I gave them my email literally just to get a receipt, and now it feels like they’ve decided we’re best friends forever. Promo emails keep showing up even after I unsubscribed, which is driving me up the wall. It’s annoying, feels a bit dodgy, and at this point I’m half expecting them to email me in my dreams...

"Felt cramped and a bit disorganized"
I stopped in to check out a fridge, and right away the store felt crowded and noisy. It kind of gave me the impression that this is just how the place usually runs, especially with how hard it was to find anyone to help. A few of the displays were dusty too, which made the whole setup feel a little neglected. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but I wouldn’t call it a pleasant shopping trip either

Like I said, the store was easy to get to, and parking was decent overall. I did end up parking toward the back and had to walk a little, but like I said, it really wasn’t a big deal.

I bought a new fridge from harveynorman.com.au and used the finance option at checkout. it was easy and I didn’t have to go into a store or call anyone, which was a relief. The payments were clear and I knew exactly what I was agreeing to before I went ahead. Made a big purchase feel a lot less stressful. I’d definitely use it again

"Smooth return, but hoping for a little goodwill"
I ended up having to return a coffee machine because it just wasn’t the right fit for us. I brought it back with the receipt, and to be fair, the refund went through without any hassle. The staff were friendly enough and didn’t make the process awkward or difficult, which I appreciated. That said, it was still a bit of an inconvenience having to pack it up and bring it back, so I’d hope there might be some kind of small compensation or goodwill gesture for the trouble. Overall, decent experience.

I used a voucher on harveynorman.com.au and it did work in the end, but it wasn’t as smooth as I thought it would be because I had to go back and double check the balance, then at checkout it wasn’t super obvious what was happening, so I ended up second-guessing it for a bit before contacting customer support, who were helpful enough but took a little while to sort things out. Not a horrible experience, just a bit more annoying than it needed to be.

"Pretty smooth delivery overall"
Delivery turned up on time, and the driver gave me a call about 20 minutes before, which was really handy. The guys were friendly and got the washing machine inside with no hassle. The install was mostly fine too, though they did leave a bit of packaging behind and I had to level it again later. Still, I’m happy overall, it was a easy process.

I walked in assuming the staff would be helpful, but that wasn’t really the case. I figured maybe they were busy or short-staffed at first, but even after waiting, I barely got any assistance. It just felt like I was mostly on my own.

I bought this toaster online and at first it seemed okay, but it felt kinda cheap right out of the box. Delivery was fine, no issues there, but after just a few weeks it stopped heating properly. Disappointing overall, ngl.

"Really depends on the store"
Ordering from Harvey Norman online was smooth overall, but the experience seems to depend a lot on which franchise/store you end up dealing with. Some stores were quick to respond and actually helpful, which I appreciated. But this is where it got annoying, other stores seemed confused, slow, or like they weren’t across what was happening with the order. Prices and service also felt a bit uneven between locations. I wouldn’t say it was a terrible experience, just inconsistent.

"I went in just planning to buy..."
I went in just planning to buy one item, but the whole visit turned into them pushing warranties, delivery, and extra add-ons. It felt like they were more focused on getting me to spend more than actually helping me make the right choice. The prices were decent, but I left feeling kind of in the dark about what I really needed versus what they were just trying to sell me. The pressure made the experience frustrating.

"Very poor customer service on product"

I ordered a product online from Harvey Norman and paid the full amount. After more than 10 days, I did not receive any delivery update.

I then visited the store to enquire and also contacted customer care several times online. After almost two weeks, I was finally informed that the product is not available.

This was very disappointing, as the product was shown as available online at the time of purchase and payment was taken in full. I also wasted a lot of time following up through store visits and customer care .now after two weeks I received email and responded that it’s not available. I can same product on Boxing Day offers and now it’s gone .

The invoice did match what I paid, so there weren’t any issues this time. That said, I’ve gotten a little cautious about double-checking everything now, because it doesn’t take much for trust to wear down.

"Felt like the range was a bit limited"
I was looking around for a few home office bits, but the options felt limited to me. Some categories had loads to choose from, while others barely had anything, which made it hard to compare everything in one place. Maybe I just caught it at a bad time, but it was a bit frustrating.
